Profile: Echo 1 MTC3

The Echo 1 MTC 3 is a Version 3 gearbox variant of the H&K G36 series of rifles. It closely resembles the SL-9 but comes stock with a shorter barrel and a railed hand guard.

Here you can see some of the changes made. I have added a barrel extension. Usually the flash hider would show right at the end of the rail system. I also added a MagPul grip and a small bipod.

MTC Trades are kind of tacky. It beats overpaying for H&K trades on the new Umarex SL-9. Not that I am too good to pay up, but the Umarex SL-9 was not release when I decided to make my own from the MTC3.
Bipod up, suited with a 4X scope.
The gun is sitting around 350 FPS right now since I have been using it more as a full auto field gun. Internally I have a very high quality torque up gear-set that could easily pull an M170 spring (Thanks to Bill giving it to me.) The gearset requires a half tooth piston so that the gear has clearance.

More reasonably, I would probably just put an M120 or M135 in it to get the FPS around 450 and use it as a Semi-Only DMR. The slow gear-set is actually pretty nice for me since it slows down the ROF a bit on my 11.4 lipo but keeps the trigger response crisp.

This gun is smooth and accurate, the Echo1 internals are outstanding. Especially for the price. I did put in a MadBull Black Python Version 2 inner barrel because I love those barrels.

Item is now for sale for 200$ flat.
Includes upgraded spring, barrel, barrel extentions (scope, fore-grip and bipod not included)
Ask to try the gun at Viperville airsoft field.
